I designed the following gifs for Instagram and Snapchat to engage customers and expand our company reach. I designed them to be on brand, yet organic and versatile enough to be used by people who didn’t know about ThredUP.

Giphy
I designed the following gifs for Instagram and Snapchat to engage customers and expand our company reach. I designed them to be on brand, yet organic and versatile enough to be used by people who didn’t know about ThredUP.
Cat In ThredUP Box
Cat in a ThredUP box is one of the less branded gifs. Our customers love to post pictures of their furry friends lounging in the polka dot ThredUP boxes. I thought the gif would be a cute way to subtly brand a gif anyone would use. Cat in a ThredUP box is the company’s most popular and highly used gif.
Outfit On Point
More on brand, for Outfit on Point I used the classic ThredUP polka dots to pun on the phrase “on point." The statement is a cute, on brand statement, to add to any outfit of the day photo, especially if you got it from ThredUP.
Smart Girls Thrift
Smart Girls Thrift is another less branded gif; however, it is subtly branded in its use of both ThredUP’s font and action color. Plus the cute doodley earth face implies ThredUP involvement. I used the message “Smart Girls Thrift” as not only is it on brand, but thrifting itself is widely popularized in the current market.
Swipe UP
Swipe UP makes a pun out of ThredUP’s classic logo typography. The higher placed “up” mirrors the brand logo. I designed this gif for our social media team to use to promote viewer interaction with stories on Instagram and Snapchat.
Unboxing
I designed the Unboxing gif for our social team and brand ambassadors to use when the team would do their ThredUP “unboxings”; team members would open up their ThredUP boxes and show off the things they bought.
No New Clothes
I designed this gif specifically for a month long challenge instituted by ThredUp. The challenged required participants to only shop second hand for one month. The color and font mismatch the classic ThredUP color and font, but with the purpose of creating a challenge specific design. ThredUP used #NoNewClothes to track everyone participating in the challenge.
Price V. Price
Retail Price VS ThredUP price was designed for ThredUP users to brag about the money they saved by shopping with ThredUP, which is something ThredUP users love.
Thrift Queen
This is another organic reaching GIF, it is less branded but, relatable and both highly used by and interacted with by instagram users.
Thred UP Logo
ThredUP was my most branded gif with its intention is not being for organic reach, but for intentional brand representation. The gif is a cute way people can call out ThredUP directly, which is specifically useful for the company’s brand ambassadors.
Icons
I designed these icons for use on instagram highlights. They continue to be used around ThredUP’s website, social media accounts, emails, ads etc
Social Media Covers
These covers were designed by me every few weeks to keep our social media accounts looking fresh and cute.
